The Honeywell KTR-953 HF Receiver/Exciter is a part of a KHF-950 Communication System which contains the receiver and the exciter for the KHF-950 System. The KTR-953 receives HF Transmission and transfers a low power transmitter drive signal to the KAC-952 and powers the KCU-951. The KTR-953 provides direct access to frequencies from 2 to 30 MHz. The KTR-953 is designed to detect SELCAL signals in the AM mode. Units are available with SELCAL compatibility, Automatic Link Establishment capability and speech processing.
