The Wulfsberg VN-411B VHF Navigation Receiver is part of the VNS-41A Navigation System. The VN-411B is remotely located and provides integrated navigation by containing three separate navigation receivers designed to receive and process VHF omnirange, localizer and marker beacon signals. The VN-411B's ARINC 429 digital data bus provides capability with EFIS/LCD displays. The VN-411B converts VOR/LOC and Glideslope information to digital format eliminating traditional CDI needle oscillations.
The VN-411B is 4.10 inches wide, 13.33 inches deep, 4.00 inches high and weighs 6.26 pounds maximum. The VN-411B operates at a max altitude up to +55,000 feet and a temperature range of -55°C to +70°C. The VN-411B has a power requirement of 18-33 VDC. Variations of the VN-411B are available with either a 10 MW or 40 MW audio output.
