The Honeywell SP-200 Autopilot Computer is a component of the SPZ-200 system which includes a Servo Drive Assembly, Engage Controller, and an Airspeed Sensor. Manual Controller and the Trim Servo Drive assembly are additional components that can be added to the SPZ-200 system. The SP-200 has a three-axis automatic flight control system providing yaw damping, elevator trim, and pitch lift compensation. The SP-200 includes all the necessary electrical components for autopilots. The SP-200 processes information about the aircraft attitude including autopilot controller selectable modes. The SP-200 contains electrical interlocks for different dash number computers which assists in preventing the wrong computer from being installed on an aircraft.
