The Collins 332D-11B Vertical Reference Gyro is a source of attitude reference information used in integrated flight systems and automatic flight control systems. Three-wire 400 Hz synchro outputs provided in both roll and pitch axes conform to ARINC specifications. The equipment features roll cutout, monitoring circuits, and built-in starting cycle. Self-testing and manual recycling can easily be furnished by appropriate external wiring. Fast erection is automatic during starting in 250 seconds maximum.
The 332D-11B is 6.00 inches high, 7.875 inches long, 5.75 inches wide and weighs 7.20 pounds. The 332D-11B operates in an altitude range of -1,000 feet to +40,000 feet and temperature range of -54°C to +70°C. The 332D-11B is similar to a 332D-11A except it has a provision for a ROLL CUTOUT annunciator.
