The Collins CTL-62G is
used to tune the ADF-462 radio in the normal range of 190 to 1799.5 kHz and
2179 to 2185 kHz. The CTL-62G is a family of microprocessor based
controls that is used for controlling the original Collins Pro Line ADF-60
and TDR-90 radios. With the use of a CAD-62 Control Adapter which converts
serial tuning data to parallel tuning data. The CTL-62G scans
operator controls and discrete inputs for frequency and mode data as
well as operating configuration. The CTL-62G can be configured to
accept serial tuning data supplied from an external system. The CTL-62G
provides nonvolatile storage of preset frequencies besides the active and
preselect frequencies that are displayed. The CTL-62G also displays
the diagnostic data received from the radio. The CTL-62G replaces the
CTL-62 and has the ability to have both 28V and 5V lighting.
