The Sandel SN3500 is an enhanced Electronic Horizontal Situation Indicator (EHSI) that can directly replace a mechanical DG or HSI as a primary display. It combines the functions of an RMI, an electromechanical HSI, a moving map, and a Stormscope® display into one unit. The SN3500 can be used internally slaved or unslaved depending on if bootstrapped to an already slaved compassed system. Depending on the dash number, the Sandel SN3500 can come in black or gray colors as well as options for high vibration, high vibration night vision (NVIS), military, and class B.
